Ferrol’s patron saint day on which various acts with presence of the city’s authorities are held, like a mass at San Julian Cathedral and the free tasting of rice pudding, a typical dish from Ferrol.

There is an act on this day to name the “Person of the Year” in Ferrol, as well as a commemoration of the twinning of the naval city with the city of Lugo.
