Ferrol’s patron saint day on which various acts with presence of the city’s authorities are held, like a mass at San Julian Cathedral and the free tasting of rice pudding, a typical dish from Ferrol. This year there will be no distribution or rice pudding (arroz con leche) due to the pandemic.

There is an act on this day to name the “Person of the Year” in Ferrol, as well as a commemoration of the twinning of the naval city with the city of Lugo.
