How to get there from Ferrol:
Ferrol-Covas road, go past the villages of Covas and A Pedreira and take the road to Ponzos beach.
Services: small car-park between both coves and also in Ponzos. First aid post in Ponzos.
Urban transport only up to Covas.
Low level of activity.
COVES OF MEDOTE AND SARTAÑA
They are two coves of fine white sand, isolated and unspoiled, separated from each other by rocks.
They are located at the western end of Ponzos beach and disappear almost completely at high tide. Both are windy and with waves.
Sartaña has an anchoring area for small boats.
