The Department of Culture of the City Council of Ferrol organizes the XXXIII International Piano Competition, from April 29 to May 7, 2022. The award will take place in its preliminary phases at the Jofre Theater and the final will take place at the Ferrol Auditorium.

It is a contest of international prestige and it is quite common that after passing through Ferrol, the winners perform in big cities such as Berlin or New York.

PROGRAM:

– April 28, at 8:30 p.m. at the Jofre Theater: opening ceremony and opening concert

– May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Teatro Jofre: concert by members of the jury and last year’s winner

– May 7 at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Auditorium: grand finale of the Contest.

– May 8 at 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Auditorium: Closing concert
