How to get there: Ferrol-San Xurxo road. In Valón (km 2), take the detour to O Confurco and then follow the signs to the old weather station in Monte Ventoso. Another option: Go past Cariño and at the crossroads with signs to the Prioriño Lighthouse, turn left and then right, towards the weather station. Leave the car on the side of the road and walk 100 m to the top.

Monte Ventoso – 250 m above the sea – is the best place to let your imagination fly over the ocean that stretches between Prior and Prioriño  capes. It offers views of the beach and lagoon of Doniños and the beginning of the Ferrol estuary from the sea. It is also a  place commonly frequented by paragliding enthusiasts.
