It is located in a roundabout, in front of the Post Office building, the Jofre Theater and the Dike Gate of the Military Arsenal.

It is an obelisk of about 15 m. of height topped by a winged Victory – a work by Francisco Asorey (1949). Its pedestal contains four reliefs and a commemorative plaque to the fallen people from Ferrol in the military campaigns of Africa.
